Keep the fires roaring on a Steam Driving Experience
Join the crew on the footplate, shovel coal onto the fire, blow the whistle, open the regulator and feel the surge of adrenalin as you get hands on in control of a heritage steam locomotive.
The steam locomotive that you are driving will depend on what is being hauled at the time of your experience date. It will be a steam locomotive from our current operational fleet.
Diesel Driver Experience
Feel the raw power on a Diesel Driver Experience
Experience life as the Driver and Secondman of a heritage diesel locomotive built for British Railways over 40 years ago. Feel the power as you take the controls of a working former main line diesel, joining the crew in the cab for a day out to remember.
