An Unforgettable Behind-the-Scenes Railway Experience

After breakfast, embark on an exciting tour with your guide, visiting the Signal Box and discovering the key infrastructure on the railway’s station and platform, including the watering tower.
Board the train to Boscarne in your own private compartment with your guide. As you travel down the line, learn about Bodmin Railway’s rich history and the Bodmin Railway Preservation Society. Don’t miss the chance to step off at Boscarne Junction and watch the engine turn around.
Upon returning, your guide will collect your Platinum Afternoon Tea Box from our Café, ready for your second branch line ride in our TSO coach. Take this trip alone, soak up the views, enjoy a relaxed conversation, and savour your lunch. On your return from Bodmin Parkway, your guide will rejoin you to highlight the key interest points of the second branch line.
After disembarking from your second branch line trip, your guide will take you on a fascinating ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour of the Railway, including an exclusive viewing of our Workshops and Running Shed. Conclude your wonderful day with a refreshing ice cream on the platform.
