Festive Murder Mystery Trains
5th, 12th & 19th December
Join us for another Christmas Murder Mystery season with Murder by Appointment SW. Step on board for an evening of sleuthing and see if you can become Bodmin Railway’s latest detective.
1960s The Secret Mission
It is 1964, at the height of the Cold War, and a secret meeting has been arranged on a train travelling from Waterloo to Southampton involving the defection of a senior MI5 officer. But it appears others are also in attendance, others who have a vested interest in the defecting officer, together with the future of national security, but just who is the unknown stranger in attendance?
Guaranteed this journey will end in murder. Watch as the story unfolds, listen out for clues, get those grey cells working, and question the cast midway through the evening if you wish to try and piece together the puzzle.
If you can solve the mystery, your name will be put into a draw and maybe you will be lucky enough to go home with a prize.
On arrival enjoy a glass of fizz and a Cornish Pasty, before boarding the train for the Act 1 journey. Back on the platform, you will have opportunities to quiz the cast if you wish before rejoining the train for the final scene trip and ‘the murder’. Keep your thinking caps on during the whole event, it could be anyone! At the end of the evening, everyone will gather on the platform to see if you solved the mystery!
