Diesel Days

8th & 22nd June

All Diesel Days will run to our GREEN timetable

Join us on an All Day Rover Ticket, which will allow you to travel as many times as you would like in one day!

Either our Class 47; 47306 ‘The Sapper’, or our Class 50; 50042 ‘Triumph’ will be providing the motive power and a decent amount of thrash.

22nd June – Class 10 ‘Colonel Tomline’ to haul service train

Our BR Class 10 0-6-0 No. D3489 ‘Colonel Tomline’ will be making an appearance on Saturday 22nd June.  The ‘Colonel’  was built in 1958 in Darlington and is currently with us on hire from Helston Railway whilst our own Class 08;08444 is under overhaul.
The Tomline will be hauling our service train, replacing the usual diesel locomotive (Class 47 or 50), in a one-off special.
Please note due to weight restrictions we will only be hauling a 3 coach train behind the shunter. 

 

Steam Shanty Evenings

June 20th

Hurry, only a few tickets left!

Join us for shanty songs, pasties, pints, and a trip on our steam train this 2024! Being a huge hit with our passengers last year, the Lemonaires (from Falmouth) are back again to perform a variety of songs about mining, fishing, farming and shanties.

Each ticket includes an arrival drink and Cornish pasty. With sets on the station and at Boscarne Junction this event includes a single line steam train ride.
