We’re now offering Group Tours of Bodmin General
New for 2021, we're now offering tours of our site at Bodmin General to groups of 30 or more!
Tours are booked in advance for groups, we’re able to run them in the evenings and days we’re not running.
The tour includes:
Hot drinks and biscuits on arrival.
A tour of the station and platforms with a talk about the history and various projects.
A tour of the signal box.
A tour of our Running Shed and Workshops with a member of our workshops crew.
A coach will be provided so there will be indoor seating if required.
It costs £10 per person for a group of 30 or more, but please contact us if you’ve got a smaller group we’re flexible.
The tour takes approximately 2 hours, and starts at a time arranged to suit your requirements, whether that’s during the morning, afternoon or evening.
One of our dedicated volunteers will provide the tour and answer any questions you may have.
The tour does not include a ride on any trains but it is a chance to go places where most passengers don’t get the chance to go, as well as getting up close to the engines.
To book or if you have any questions please contact us!
