From July 19th the majority of the Covid-19 restrictions were relaxed, becoming guidance rather than law. We want to make sure that our visitors, staff and volunteers are safe so we will have the following in place.
Online bookings will stay. This guarantees you a trip on our railway. Following on from customer feedback we will continue with the allocated seating. We will allow walk-ins if we have the space – although there are no guarantees especially on wet summer days.
Face masks for both visitors and staff and volunteers will become advisable rather than compulsory. As per Government guidelines we advise you continue to wear them in crowded spaces or on public transport.
We will continue to clean touch points and our trains regularly.
Life always carries risks, but we will do everything we can to minimise those risks and you can help with this too by staying at home if you or anyone in your group feels unwell, is told to self-isolate by NHS Track & trace or test positive for Covid-19. If you can’t make your train due to this please give us a quick call or email and we can change the date of your booking very easily.
Connections can also be made with the mainline at Bodmin Parkway once again.
We will have a very limited number of walk on spaces if you wish to join us at Bodmin Parkway but this cannot be booked in advance.
