In the second in our series of interviews, Hannah talks to Adam Cox, volunteer fireman at the railway and one of the younger members of the team. Adam talks about his life long love of railways, finally getting on the footplate and training as a fireman, and his challenge to the railway for the future.

The railway is currently closed due to the current third lockdown. However we are working tirelessly to ensure we are able to open later this year. We are currently planning to reopen around Easter time, subject to Covid restrictions, and good progress is being made on many fronts to make sure the railway is in the best possible place to reopen.
The Bodmin & Wenford Railway has been announced as one of the successful recipients of funding in the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s first wave of Culture Recovery Fund for Heritage grants.
