The Bodmin & Wenford Railway offers a range of locations, locomotives and rolling stock, and other opportunities for television and film. Whether your project is large or small, is full of railway action or just a station scene, we have the facilities and expertise to ensure it is a success. We are particularly proud of our growing collection of Victorian locomotives & rolling stock. We have two steam locomotives dating back to 1874 & 1899 and a GWR special saloon built in 1881 so if you need to do some period piece filming, Bodmin may be the place for you!
Our railway has provided the setting for several television and film productions over the years. Examples include the film Keeping Mum, shot in early 2005, scenes for German television of various Rosamunde Pilcher novels, The Railway Channel and more recently we have featured on Salvage Hunters with Drew Pritchard.
