Terms and Conditions for Bookings made via this website

All bookings are taken subject to confirmation of availability.  A confirmation is sent to the e-mail address provided when booking. If this confirmatory e-mail is not received within 4 days of placing your order you should contact us.  All bookings must be paid for prior to the goods or services being provided.  This includes all travel. 

Payments made via this website may not be processed immediately but at some time prior to the service being provided.  If the payment fails the Railway will attempt to contact the customer and ask for the payment. We normally take payment approximately 2 weeks prior to departure or start time.

Cancellations.

  • Dining, Murder Mystery, Steam Beer & Jazz, and Santa Special Trains - Cancellations can only be accepted up to 24 hours prior to departure time of trains or start time of events.

  • Private Hire Trains may only be cancelled up to 7 days prior to departure or start time.  Where special orders are made a refund may not be available but you will be advised of this when booking.

  • Driving Courses may only be cancelled up to 14 days before the date booked.

In all the above cases if monies have been paid there will be a cancellation charge as follows:-
                        Fares, Tickets or Purchases up to £100 - cancellation charge is £5, up to £200 charge is £10, over £200 charge is 5%.

The Bodmin & Wenford Railway reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time. We will attempt to contact the customer as soon as possible to advise of this cancellation and to offer an alternative service or a refund.

The Bodmin & Wenford Railway is VAT registered.  All prices shown on this site include VAT where appropriate but not all services are subject to VAT.  If you require a VAT receipt with the VAT shown please ask us for this at time of booking.
